Thanks to Jennifer Lynch and the Students at Roslyn Park College for a marvelous experience. The following is some feedback from students “I will focus on my strengths in future instead of always thinking of my weaknesses”
My core belief was reinforced again: education empowers. It happened following a series of four workshops in Roslyn Park College – an education facility for persons who need specialist support.
Another milestone was reached in the Winning Minds Movement yesterday when Emma Murphy became our first ambassador. Its an incredible privilege to have her on-board as Emma epitomises everything that a Winning Mind stands for.
Today was our second class in our ‘Mindset For Success’ series at Roslyn Park College, and the numbers have grown from day 1. We started by talking about strengths, abilities, passions and things to be thankful for. (its called ‘strengths based learning’ and is a great way to lift the moods of learners)
Tonight is another special occasion. I get to celebrate with The Waverley Academy – sponsors of the Winning Minds Movement. The occasion is also a special one for TWA – as it presents awards to the their students for their career achievements. The theme for the night is inspiration and I also get to share the stage with 2 very inspirational people: Emma Murphy and Lynsey Bennet.
